Critical Thinking is extremely important to be a better leader. It helps in decision-making. Every single day decision-making is an important step. It starts with prioritising tasks and then delegation. Critical thinking can be a framework of "WHY-WHAT-HOW-WHOM". All important decisions should be taken through these 4 steps.

  1. Why should we do this task in the first place? What are the benefits?

  2. What should be accomplished to ensure WHY is achieved?

  3. How to Implement the tasks

  4. Do we need any resources or people (WHOM) to accomplish the WHY?

This is similar to the Waterfall model in Software development.

5. Be flexible


Finally, great leaders are flexible and adaptable. This means being open to new ideas and willing to change course when necessary. It also means being able to adjust your leadership style to fit the needs of your team.


If you want to be a great leader, start by implementing some of these key strategies. Communicate openly and frequently, delegate effectively, set clear expectations, be decisive, and be flexible. These are the qualities that all great leaders have in common.
